The study found that people tend to underestimate the number of calories in a meal when they see key words like "trans-fat free."
Tierny suspects that when Americans see that foods are marketed as "low fat" we tend to eat more of those foods. Which means more calories...We end up overeating what we perceive as "good" foods.
Chandon thinks we should stop obsessing over "bad" foods versus "good" foods.
Being French, I don’t have any problem with people enjoying lots of foods...Europeans obsess less about nutrition but know what a reasonable portion size is and when they have had too much food, so they’re not as biased by food and diet fads and are healthier. Too many Americans believe that to lose weight, what you eat matters more than how much you eat. It’s the country where people are the best informed about food and enjoy it the least.What do you think?




Although it's preferred to always eat healthy, you can occasionally cheat with high calorie junk food, just don't make it the norm.Because of Government we always have not the same thing which is described on packing.
